About Lisa Arview
Lisa Arview was born in 1985 in Needles, California, and moved to Southern Illinois at the age of seven. An artist at heart, she first fell in love with painting before studying graphic design. However, disillusioned by the constraints of corporate advertising, she sought a more fulfilling creative path.
Currently working as a ministry assistant, Lisa rediscovered her passion for photography three years ago as a way to get outside and stay active. After enduring personal hardships including illness, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the loss of her father to cancer she found solace behind the lens. Whether it was the timing or a calling she had always been meant to follow, photography reignited her artistic spirit, allowing her to capture the beauty of the world with fresh perspective and renewed passion.
Living with a chronic illness, Lisa knows what it means to feel less than her best most days. But through wildlife photography, she is reminded daily that miracles happen all the time. In the quiet moments watching an owl take flight or a deer stepping into the morning light, she sees proof that beauty, resilience, and wonder are always present waiting to be noticed.
